Art Batts & Updates 08/31/2011
I've been spinning like a mad woman but a friend suggest I share some of these gorgeous art batts I've been making with the rest of the world so I listed some of them in my Etsy store. www.madavemi.etsy.com I've got more to take pictures of and list this week when I manage to get my rear off the spinning chair. I also managed to add a really cool feature to my website on our FIBER page! I added a mini Etsy store so that you can actually see what's in my store and click on the link to take you to the items you absolutely can't live without. How cool is that? My spinning this week has been slow going due to picture taking but I've managed to some gorgeous lofty skeins of corespun yarn that's plyed with metallic thread. It's light, airy, and oh so soft. I haven't listed these in the Etsy store because I'm saving them up for the events we're doing. Speaking of events... I managed to FINALLY get around to updating my events page! I've still got more to list but it's a start. Add Comment The Fiber Marathon continues... 08/10/2011
The month of July was a busy one here in Plyed and Dyed Fiber Studio. I hand processed a little over 7 lbs of fiber & hand spun it into about 55 skeins of 2 ply yarn. THAT'S alot of yarn to spin in one month! I have finally "opened" my etsy store! It's not as easy as I expected and it's going to take some getting used to. C First Post! 08/10/2011

| AuthorOk, I admit it... I'm a fiber junkie. The good news is that I'm not alone in my obsession with fiber. Plyed and Dyed was created to fuel my addiction to fiber. At Mada Vemi Alpacas we shear, skirt, card, spin, dye, crochet, knit, wet felt, and needle felt to feed the addiction. ArchivesCategories |
